Abstract: A greenway is "a strip of undeveloped land near an urban area, set aside for recreational use or environmental protection". Though the definition of greenway varies in countries, greenways are vegetated, linear, and multi-purpose.
The following pictures describes two kinds of greenways (the top one is Charles River Esplanade, Boston, Massachusetts, US and the below one is Railway Platforms on Parkland Walk, North London, England).
